I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
